Need documentation on John

John's great grandson, C. John Branner, was the second President of Stanford University and collected a great deal of anecdotal information on John Baker and his family. It is known that John was born on or about 4 May 1758 and that he married Urcilla White. They moved to Tennessee where John died, leaving at least two sons, Thomas and John (Dr. Branner descended from John Jr.).

Documentation of John's family would be very helpful.
