(also beqeathes them some other chattel.) The residue of my land not already disposed be equally divided between my children Nancy White, wife of William, John Puett, Basheba Medaris, Frances Estes, Polly Chambers and Mary Chambers and their heirs. To my son William Puett I give one dollar only, his having received in land a full share or more of my estate. .....I appoint my friend and relative William Puett, son of John and William White executors of this my last will...31 Oct, 1842. Witnessed by William Dickson and Elijah Pendley. Probated Jan, 1843 *( Cynthia Puett was born in 1815-after his first 5 children were born!) I give and devise to my sons Joseph Baker, John Baker, Elisha Baker, William Baker and my daughters Mary Baird, Nancy M. Wilson, Patsy A. Holloway, Frances P. Shell, Bashaba McCall, Lucinda Baker, Eliza G. Baker, Claricy A. Baker and my granddaughter Charity Elizabeth Redmond all and singular my personal estate to be divided equally amongst them......lands to my four sons Joseph, John, Elisha, and William to be equally divided after wife's death. Lastly...I appoint my son Joseph Baker and son in law samuel McCall as my lawful executors... 25 August 1844. Witnessed by E.P.
